Jack Ray is a guitarist, writer, singer, and producer living and working on unceded Kaurna Land (Adelaide, Australia). He performs regularly with a range of musical ensembles across folk, rock, and jazz, and largely records and produces his own work as well as projects by other creatives.

A longstanding contributor to Adelaide’s local music scene, Jack Willsmore has only recently unveiled his solo folk project under the moniker Jack Ray. The project debuted with Silence After Love (September 2025), with Mr Kerouac following on November 25, 2025, offering a clearer indication of the project’s direction.

Alongside his musical work, he has released two collections of poetry; Dare I Arise Again? (November 2024) and Raise Our Love From Us (March 2026).
